Highlights

OCTOBER 11-13, 2019

Spiritual Challenge
Whether you choose our Spring or Fall retreat, the beautiful music and spoken word will help you engage with God. There will be time for prayer and quiet reflection in His creation. Let your heart and soul be filled.

Wonderful Food
Silver Spur is known for great food! Our Food Service Team is dedicated to providing quality food from scratch. Have a special dietary request or allergy? Be sure to let us know. We strive to meet your needs to the best of our ability.

Informative and Fun Workshops
Between the main sessions, engage with your friends and other guests in a workshop of your choosing. The focus of each workshop will vary, but each is designed to be personal and interactive.

Free Time & Recreational Activities
Push yourself. Zip down the Argonaut Zipline, swing with a friend or two on our Gold Rush Swing, or practice your skills at Broken Arrow Hollow Archery Range. Seeking tranquility? Enjoy a hike through our beautiful foothill woodlands, relax by the pool or visit one of our nearby historic areas.

Silver Spur - Women's Retreat Boutique
Attention Ladies! This last Spring, we had our first Silver Spur Boutique. It was an opportunity for locals to showcase and sell their craft. From inspiring handmade signs to beautiful succulents and fabulous jewelry. Take a look at the pictures above!
It was so successful, that we decided to have it for our Fall Retreat!  We will have booths set up during a part of free time for some local shopping. So, no need to go into town, the Vendors are coming to you! Be sure to bring some spending cash and take home some great finds!

FALL RETREAT

GUEST SPEAKER
Gail Holmen

Gail is a recently retired sales and marketing executive from the Bay Area. The author of two books, she is a self-described “organizational maven” who has approached her spiritual life from the same perspective.  Her most recent book, My Spiritual Journey, was developed as a balanced and visual way to chronicle and grow in our faith journey.  Wife, mother, and life-long student, she is passionate and committed to spiritual growth. Gail has a green thumb too!

WORSHIP
Kimberly Dominguez

Kim has been leading worship for over 10 years. As a teen, she started leading at her youth group, and has only grown in her passion for the Lord, His people and His presence. She studied Worship and Creative Arts at Hillsong College in Sydney Australia and then served as worship leader at Hope Community Church in Westminster and Santa Maria Foursquare Church in Santa Maria, CA. (FFC - be aware of potential theological strangeness with these associations).

Kim's passion for connecting people with God has led her to lead worship at district conferences and camps.
She currently serves as a worship leader and youth pastor at Sonora Community Church in Sonora, Ca. where she attends with her husband Gabe and their two-year-old daughter, Lillie. She also makes a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies!
