FA17-01 – Preparing For Biblical Parenthood

Description: The Bible is clear that parents are to be the primary spiritual teachers for their children, but many feel inadequate or ill-equipped for such a monumental task.  If you have small children or are planning on having children soon, please join us on Wednesday evenings as we prepare together to raise our children to be godly.

FA17-02 –Women’s Group: With Him in Life’s Struggles

Description: Myrna Alexander’s With Him in Life's Struggles uses principles from David’s life to give you confidence in God’s faithfulness, power, and goodness, especially in the midst of life’s struggles. This exciting, life-related examination of 2 Samuel will help you become, like David, a person after God’s own heart.
.Encourages those who are struggling in the midst of difficulty
.A 13-lesson study of the book of 2 Samuel with study questions for each day
.Learn from David’s example how to be confident of God’s power and goodness in spite of personal weakness

FA17-03 –The Gospel Project 1 – Exile & Return

Description: The Gospel Project for Adults takes men and women on a chronological, Christ-centered journey through the storyline of Scripture. Each week, participants will encounter God's plan of redemption in Scripture through study of Bible narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith, and the call to join in God's mission locally and around the world.

FA17-04 – Mere Christianity

Description:  In the classic Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis, one of the most important writer of the 20th century, explores the common ground upon which all of those of Christian faith stand together. Bringing together Lewis’ legendary broadcast talks during World War Two from his three previous books The Case for Christianity, Christian Behavior, and Beyond Personality, Mere Christianity provides an opportunity for believers and nonbelievers alike to hear Lewis’ apologetic for the Christian faith.

FA17-05 – A Study Through the Book of Acts


Instructor: Ross Buchanan 
Starting Date: Ongoing (currently on a break and starting Sept 10)
Meeting info: During 2nd service @ FFC in the Fellowship Hall
Description: Where the Gospels end, the book of Acts continues. Acts takes us through the acts of the Holy Spirit in the Apostles as the New Covenant community of God takes shape in the first century. This class will be going through the book verse by verse, and exegeting the text as it comes. Bring your Bible, and feel free to join at any time. When Acts is completed, a new series will begin.

FA17-06 – DeepEnd – Ligonier Connect Course – Parables/Exposition of the 1689 London Baptist Confession

Meeting Info: Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00pm @ the Abeyta home.
Description: DeepEnd is part of FFC’s ministry to young adults. This semester we will be using the Ligonier Connect Course material. These are college level theology classes, on a number of different topics. The current series is taking us through some of the parables that Jesus taught. When this series wraps up, we will be teaching through the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, article by article.  The night will typically consist of fellowship through singing songs, watching a short video (from the LCC) and then discussion on what was watched after.

FA17-08 – Workout Warriors

Description: Women of FFC – would you like to gain accountability in taking care of your physical health, as well as your spiritual health? If so, then this is the group for you. In this group, you will exercise with other women and spend time going through a devotional together.
